About this job
A Per Diem Medical Surgical Certified Nursing Assistant will support bedside care in an acute care hospital unit in Milwaukie, Oregon. Epic charting is used, and the patient population includes middle adult and older adult patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide bathing, grooming, feeding and toileting support
- Turn and reposition patients to promote skin integrity
- Take vital signs and pulse oximetry readings
- Support ambulation, transfers and oxygen tank setup
- Perform glucose point-of-care testing
- Report changes in patient condition to the nurse
- Apply PPE and follow isolation precautions
Qualifications
- AHA BLS certification
- Active Oregon Certified Nursing Assistant license
- 0.8 years acute care hospital experience
- Recent Epic experience
- Basic bedside care skills
