About this job
A Per Diem Medical Surgical Certified Nursing Assistant will support adult patients on a medical surgical unit in an acute care teaching hospital in Milwaukie, Oregon. Epic charting is used with standard bedside equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with bathing, grooming, toileting, and incontinence care
- Turn and reposition patients to support skin protection
- Obtain vital signs, pulse oximetry, and blood glucose readings
- Help with ambulation, transfers, and safe patient movement
- Apply PPE and isolation precautions while reporting changes in condition
Qualifications
- Active Oregon Certified Nursing Assistant credential
- BLS certification from AHA
- 1 year of acute care hospital experience
- Recent Epic experience
- Basic bedside care and vital sign collection skills
