Travel Case Management RN in Edmonds, WA

A Travel Case Management Registered Nurse will coordinate care and discharge planning in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Edmonds, Washington. The unit serves adults and geriatrics, averages 18-20 patients daily, and uses Epic. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Coordinate care plans across the inpatient stay
• Develop discharge plans with patients and the care team
• Review medical necessity and continued stay needs
• Collaborate with social services and other support teams
• Document case management activity in Epic
• Support safe transitions for adults and geriatrics

• Registered Nurse license in Washington or active compact license
• BLS certification
• 2 years of acute care or med surg experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Experience with care coordination and discharge planning

• Appeals and denials experience
• Concurrent review experience
• Continued stay review experience
• Evidence-based medical necessity review
