Travel Case Management RN in Anchorage, AK

A Travel Case Management Registered Nurse will coordinate discharge planning in an acute hospital case management unit on a 13-week contract in Anchorage, Alaska. The unit uses Epic and serves neonates through adults in a Magnet Level II trauma setting.

• Coordinate discharge planning and care transitions
• Review continued stay and medical necessity needs
• Assess patient needs and develop care plans
• Collaborate with social services and other support teams
• Arrange DME, referrals, and follow-up resources
• Document case management work in Epic

• Active Alaska Registered Nurse license
• Minimum 2 years of acute hospital experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Care coordination, discharge planning, and medical necessity review skills
• Experience with ICU, MS, SDU, PCU, IMC, or Obs settings

• BLS
• ACM-RN certification
• InterQual and Milliman guideline experience
• Appeals, denials, and prior authorization experience
