Travel Case Management RN in Anchorage, AK

A Travel Case Management Registered Nurse will coordinate discharge planning in an acute hospital in Anchorage, Alaska on a 13-week contract. First-time travelers are welcome. The unit uses Epic and serves neonates through geriatrics in a Magnet, Level II trauma setting.

• Coordinate discharge planning and transition needs
• Review continued stay and medical necessity
• Complete care coordination and patient needs assessments
• Develop and update plans of care
• Arrange DME and other discharge resources
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team on utilization review

• Active Alaska Registered Nurse license
• 2 years of acute care hospital experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Care coordination and discharge planning skills

• BLS
• ACM-RN certification
• Microsoft Office and Teams experience
• InterQual, Milliman, prior authorization, and appeals familiarity
