Travel Ultrasound Tech in Santa Monica, CA

A Travel General Ultrasound Technologist will perform general diagnostic and interventional ultrasound studies in an acute care hospital for a 13-week contract in Santa Monica, California. The unit primarily serves adults and geriatrics, with some neonatal and first-trimester obstetric imaging, and uses Epic charting.

• Perform general diagnostic ultrasound studies
• Assist with thoracentesis, paracentesis, and biopsy guidance
• Support limited vascular assessment within general studies
• Scan adult, geriatric, neonatal, and obstetric patients
• Maintain image quality and documentation in Epic
• Work with portable and outpatient imaging needs

• 2 years of ultrasound experience
• BLS certification and ARDMS registry
• RDMS in abdomen, OB, or breast
• Competency in first-, second-, and third-trimester obstetric, neonatal, pediatric, and interventional ultrasound exams
• Epic, PACS, and Philips equipment experience
• Community hospital and prior travel experience

• Pediatric imaging experience
• Teaching hospital experience
