Travel Ultrasound Tech in Anchorage, AK

A Travel Ultrasound Tech will perform general ultrasound imaging in an acute care hospital imaging unit on a 13-week contract in Anchorage, Alaska. The role supports inpatient, outpatient, emergency room, neonatal, pediatric, adult and geriatric patients, with Cerner charting and complex breast imaging and biopsy work. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams across inpatient, outpatient and emergency room settings
• Assist with breast imaging and ultrasound-guided biopsy procedures
• Acquire and document images in the charting system
• Prepare patients across neonatal, pediatric, adult and geriatric populations
• Maintain imaging equipment and probe disinfection practices
• Coordinate with radiology and support teams to keep workflow moving

• ARDMS certification
• BLS certification
• 2 years of ultrasound experience
• Experience with adult, breast, NICU, pediatrics and emergency department imaging
• Experience with portables, PACS, ultrasound-guided biopsy and fine needle aspiration, and Toshiba systems
• Teaching hospital experience and prior travel experience

• GE system experience
• Trauma Level I or II experience
• Cerner charting system experience
