Travel Telemetry RN in Wichita, KS

A Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse will care for telemetry patients in an acute care hospital medical unit on a 13-week contract in Wichita, Kansas. The 17-bed unit uses Meditech and serves heart cath recoveries with estimated ratios near 1:6, including 1:4 for heart cath patients.

• Monitor telemetry patients and report rhythm changes
• Assess cardiac patients and coordinate nursing care
• Administer medications and continuous medication drips
• Manage central lines, IV therapy, and chest tubes
• Support heart cath recovery and bubble studies
• Document care in the electronic medical record

• Current Kansas Registered Nurse license
• 1 year of current telemetry hospital experience
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Completion of an accredited Registered Nurse program
• Strong critical thinking and independent practice skills

• Meditech experience
• Experience in large trauma facilities
