Travel Telemetry RN in Wichita, KS

A Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide cardiac monitoring and bedside care in an acute care hospital in Wichita, Kansas on a 13-week contract. The unit uses Meditech and cares for surgical telemetry and heart cath recovery patients with ratios of 1:6 and 1:4 for heart cath patients.

• Monitor telemetry rhythms and report changes in condition
• Assess surgical telemetry and heart cath recovery patients
• Manage central lines and medication drips
• Assist with chest tubes and related bedside care
• Document care in Meditech
• Collaborate with the care team to support safe patient care

• Kansas Registered Nurse license
• Minimum 1-year current telemetry hospital experience
• Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certifications
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program

• Meditech charting experience
• Prior travel experience in large teaching hospital settings
