Travel Telemetry RN in South Carolina

A Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide care for telemetry and post cardiac procedure patients on a hospital unit in Charleston, South Carolina, for a 13-week contract. The 29-bed unit uses 1:6 ratios and Meditech charting, with a Level II trauma center and stroke center designation.

• Monitor telemetry strips and report rhythm changes
• Provide care for telemetry and post cardiac procedure patients
• Administer cardiac drips and breathing treatments
• Perform phlebotomy and assist with Foley catheter care
• Coordinate discharge planning and patient education
• Collaborate with physicians and ancillary departments on plans of care

• South Carolina Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• 30 months of RN or LPN nursing experience
• One previous successful travel nursing assignment
• Proficiency reading telemetry strips
