Travel Telemetry RN in South Carolina

A Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse will care for telemetry and post-cardiac patients in a hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Charleston, South Carolina. The 29-bed unit uses Meditech and supports a 1:6 ratio in a Level II trauma hospital with stroke services.

• Monitor telemetry strips and report rhythm changes
• Care for telemetry and post-cardiac patients after PCI, PPM, ICD, and ablation procedures
• Manage cardiac drips and administer breathing treatments as ordered
• Perform phlebotomy, Foley catheter care, and maintenance
• Complete discharge planning and patient education
• Collaborate with physicians and ancillary departments on care plans
• Support bedside handoff, AIDET, and RN/MD rounding

• South Carolina Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS certification
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• 30 months RN or LPN nursing experience
• One previous successful travel nursing assignment
• Telemetry strip interpretation and cardiac drip management
