Travel Telemetry RN in Columbia, SC

A Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide cardiac monitoring and bedside nursing care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Columbia, South Carolina. The unit serves adults and geriatrics, has 24 beds, uses Epic, and typically staffs 1:5 to 1:6 assignments.

• Monitor telemetry rhythms and report changes
• Assess adults and geriatrics throughout the shift
• Start and maintain IV access
• Manage dysrhythmia care and interventions
• Administer medications and ordered treatments
• Document assessments and care in Epic

• South Carolina or compact Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS certification
• 2 years of telemetry experience
• Epic charting experience
• Experience with 1:5 patient ratios
• IV start and maintenance skills

• NIHSS
• Dysrhythmia interpretation
• Dysrhythmia management
