Travel Telemetry RN in Columbia, SC

A Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide direct nursing care for adults and geriatrics in an acute care hospital telemetry unit on a 13-week contract in Columbia, South Carolina. The unit has 24 beds, an average daily census of 18, and uses Epic for charting.

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and report changes
• Assess adult and geriatric patients throughout the shift
• Administer medications and IV therapy
• Start and maintain peripheral IV lines
• Coordinate care with therapy, respiratory, pharmacy, and other support services
• Educate patients and families on plan of care

• South Carolina or multistate Compact Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS
• 2 years of telemetry experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Experience starting and maintaining IVs
• Telemetry experience with 1:5 patient assignments

• NIHSS
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
