Travel Telemetry RN in San Antonio, TX

A Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse will monitor and support cardiac patients in a hospital telemetry unit on a 13-week contract in San Antonio, Texas. The unit uses Meditech charting and emphasizes hourly rounding, bedside shift report, and AIDET. The role includes telemetry monitoring and post-cardiac procedure care.

• Monitor telemetry rhythms and report cardiac changes
• Assess patients and prioritize nursing interventions
• Administer IV medications and cardiac drips
• Manage IV access, lines, and drains
• Provide post-procedure care after cardiac catheterization and pacemaker procedures
• Use hourly rounding, bedside shift report, and AIDET

• Active Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• NIH Stroke Scale
• 2+ years of hospital telemetry experience
• Telemetry monitoring, IV therapy, and cardiac drip experience

• Dysrhythmia interpretation
• Dysrhythmia management
• Cardiac medication knowledge
• IV drip management
