Travel Telemetry RN in Corpus Christi, TX

A Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide care for neuro/ortho patients in a hospital telemetry unit during a 13-week contract in Corpus Christi, Texas. The 25-bed unit uses Meditech and typically staffs ratios of 6:1, sometimes 5:1.

• Monitor telemetry rhythms and report changes promptly
• Provide general med/surg care for neuro and ortho patients
• Manage chest tubes and IV infusion therapy as ordered
• Administer heparin, Cardizem, and amiodarone drips when assigned
• Use infusion pumps and wound vac equipment safely
• Collaborate with the charge nurse and care team on patient needs

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Graduation from an accredited Registered Nurse program

• Meditech experience
• Telemetry experience
