Travel Surgical Tech in Vail, CO

A Travel Surgical Technologist will assist during surgical procedures in a hospital operating room on a 13-week contract in Vail, Colorado. The role supports sterile and aseptic technique, instrumentation, room preparation, and patient safety while working with Tier 1 surgical cases under the direction of a Registered Nurse.

• Maintain a sterile field and monitor for contamination
• Prepare, check, and organize surgical instruments and supplies
• Support surgical procedures with needed instrumentation and equipment
• Assist with briefings, debriefings, transports, room turnovers, and room setup
• Clean instruments and prepare them for terminal sterilization
• Follow aseptic technique, safety practices, and team communication

• Active Colorado Surgical Technologist license
• Certified Surgical Technologist program completion or Licensed Surgical Technologist credential
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association
• 1 year of surgical technology experience
• Working knowledge of English reading, writing, and speaking
