Travel Surgical Tech in Thornton, CO

A Travel Surgical Tech Certified Surgical Technologist will support labor and delivery procedures in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Thornton, Colorado. The unit cares for labor, delivery, and postpartum patients and uses Beacon, CPN, and Meditech. Ratios range from 1:1 to 1:2 for labor patients and 3:1 for postpartum care.

• Prepare sterile supplies and surgical instruments
• Assist with cesarean sections, versions, assisted deliveries, and D&C procedures
• Maintain a sterile field during obstetric procedures
• Support room setup and turnover for labor and delivery cases
• Organize instruments, supplies, and equipment for urgent obstetric care
• Help care for labor, delivery, and postpartum patients as needed

• 6 months of current labor and delivery Certified Surgical Technologist experience
• Active BLS certification
• Active NBSTA certification
• Active DORA certification

• LDRP experience
• Postpartum experience
