Travel Surgical Tech in South Carolina

A Travel Surgical Tech Certified Surgical Technologist will assist in the operating room on a 13-week contract in Charleston, South Carolina. The unit supports ophthalmology, ortho, neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, robotics, transplant, and trauma cases in a level I trauma, teaching, Magnet hospital with EPIC charting. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Prepare the sterile field and surgical supplies
• Assist during ophthalmology and other specialty procedures
• Support neuro, ENT, robotics, ortho, transplant, and trauma cases
• Maintain instrument counts and pass instruments as needed
• Handle specimens and help with room turnover tasks
• Adapt to a broad surgical case mix

• NBSTSA certification
• BLS certification
• 2 years of surgical technology experience
• Experience in trauma cases

• Burns case experience
• Craniotomy experience
• Da Vinci robotics experience
• Spinal fusion, total hip replacement, and total knee replacement experience
