Travel Surgical Tech in South Carolina

A Travel Surgical Tech Certified Surgical Technologist will assist in the operating room of a level I trauma center on a 13-week contract in Charleston, South Carolina. The teaching Magnet hospital supports complex orthopedic, neuro, ENT, transplant, trauma, GU/GYN, and robotics cases, with EPIC charting and first-time travelers welcome.

• Prepare the operating room and sterile field for assigned surgical cases
• Assist surgeons and the surgical team with instruments, supplies, and intraoperative needs
• Support cases across orthopedics, neuro, ENT, robotics, transplant, trauma, and GU/GYN
• Maintain sterile technique and help with counts, setup, and turnover
• Anticipate case needs and respond quickly during complex procedures
• Organize implants, equipment, and case carts for efficient workflow

• 2 years of surgical technologist experience
• National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting certification
• BLS certification

• Neuro cases, including spine and craniotomy
• ENT flap cases
• Robotics experience with DaVinci Xi
