Travel Surgical Tech in Santa Rosa, CA

A Travel Surgical Tech Certified Surgical Technologist will support operating room cases in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Santa Rosa, California. The unit has 8 rooms, averages 25 cases daily, and handles ortho trauma, neurosurgery, vascular, robotics, general, GU, and GYN cases in a Level I trauma setting.

• Prepare case carts, crash carts, and surgical supplies
• Maintain sterile technique and aseptic field during procedures
• Assist with orthopedic, neuro, vascular, robotic, and trauma cases
• Set up microscopes, laparoscopic towers, and arthroscopy equipment
• Support instrument handling, counts, and room readiness
• Follow universal protocol, fire safety, and sharps safety practices

• BLS certification
• 3 years of surgical technologist experience
• Level I trauma experience
• Prior travel experience

• CST certification
• NBSTSA certification
• Craniotomy experience
• Da Vinci Xi experience
• Community hospital experience
• Airway management experience
