Travel Surgical Tech in Indianapolis, IN

A Travel Surgical Tech Certified Surgical Technologist will scrub transplant and complex operating room cases in an acute care hospital for a 13-week contract in Indianapolis, Indiana. The unit serves adults in a teaching hospital with high-acuity surgical care and about 35 cases each day across 22 rooms.

• Scrub for liver transplant recipient procedures and other complex open cases
• Assist with general, thoracic, urology, and gynecologic surgeries
• Maintain aseptic technique throughout the operating room
• Prepare instruments, supplies, and sterile setup for each case
• Support robotic and minimally invasive procedures
• Help with case turnover and surgical room readiness

• BLS certification
• NBSTSA certification
• 2 years of surgical technology experience
• Independent liver transplant scrub experience
• Experience with open, laparoscopic, thoracic, urology, gynecologic, and free flap cases

• Cerner charting experience
• Teaching hospital experience
• Level I trauma experience
• Robotic surgery experience
• Endoscope reprocessing experience
