Travel Surgical Tech in Fredericksburg, TX

A Travel Surgical Technologist will support the operating room in Fredericksburg, Texas on a 13-week contract. The unit has 5 operating rooms, a 1:1 ratio, and uses Meditech Expanse. It supports a mix of ortho, general, robotics, vascular, and gynecologic cases with specialized surgical equipment.

• Prepare the operating room and verify sterile supplies
• Set up instruments, equipment, and specialty trays for surgical cases
• Assist surgeons and the surgical team during ortho, general, robotics, vascular, and gynecologic procedures
• Maintain sterile technique and support the sterile field
• Perform surgical counts and help track instruments and supplies
• Assist with patient positioning and room turnover between cases

• Certified Surgical Technologist credential
• BLS certification
• Graduation from an accredited surgical technology program
• Strong sterile technique and instrument handling skills

• Experience with ortho, general, robotics, vascular, and gynecologic cases
