Travel Surgical Tech in Asheville, NC

A Travel Vascular Operating Room Certified Surgical Technologist will assist with surgical cases in a hospital operating room in Asheville, North Carolina on a 13-week contract. The unit uses Cerner and supports a broad mix of surgical service lines, including vascular cases and trauma.

• Prepare the operating room for vascular and other surgical cases
• Pass instruments and supplies to the surgical team during procedures
• Maintain sterile technique and support the sterile field
• Organize instruments, supplies and equipment for a broad range of service lines
• Assist with counts, specimen handling and case turnover
• Support the team with intraoperative needs in the operating room

• Certified Surgical Technologist credential
• Completion of an accredited surgical technologist program
• Broad surgical knowledge across general, GYN, robotics, neuro, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, burn and trauma service lines
• Sterile field and instrumentation skills
