Travel Surgical Tech in Apple Valley, CA

A Travel Surgical Tech Certified Surgical Technologist will assist in the operating room and outpatient surgery center on a 13-week contract in Apple Valley, California. The case mix includes general, orthopedic, spine, total joints, urology, vascular, and gynecologic surgery across 6 surgical suites, with Epic charting. Da Vinci Xi robotic cases and patients from adolescence through geriatrics are part of the setting.

• Prepare the operating room and sterile field for surgical cases
• Pass instruments and supplies during scrubbed procedures
• Assist with spine, total joint, general, vascular, and gynecologic cases
• Maintain sterile technique, specimen handling, and safety standards
• Support robotic and laparoscopic cases as needed
• Set up trays, carts, and surgical equipment for the next case

• 2 years of surgical tech experience
• Certified Surgical Technologist credential through NBSTSA or NCCT
• BLS certification
• Scrub experience in inpatient operating room cases
• Experience with spine and total joint surgery

• Da Vinci Xi robotic surgery experience
• SPD, instrument processing, and scope reprocessing experience
• Ambulatory or outpatient operating room experience
• Epic charting system experience
