Travel Sterile Processing Tech in Orangeburg, SC

A Travel Sterile Processing Tech Team Lead will oversee sterile processing operations in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Orangeburg, South Carolina. The unit supports decontamination, prep and pack, sterilization, case carts, sterile storage, Epic charting, and Level III trauma care.

• Supervise sterile processing staff across decontamination, prep and pack, sterilization, case carts, and sterile storage
• Assign daily work based on workload, case volume, and department priorities
• Oversee instrument tracking, documentation accuracy, and inventory control
• Coordinate tray turnaround, instrument availability, and case cart readiness
• Troubleshoot equipment, instrument, and workflow issues
• Audit tray assembly, count sheets, peel packs, and labeling
• Support orientation, training, and quality initiatives

• CBSPD certification
• CRCST-HSPA certification
• Three years of sterile processing experience
• Prior leadership experience
• Sterilization, decontamination, and assembly/wrap experience
• Prior travel experience

• Electronic instrument tracking systems
• Neuro, GU, robotics, ENT, ortho, transplant, and GYN case experience
