Travel Sterile Processing Tech in Orangeburg, SC

A Travel Sterile Processing Tech Team Lead will supervise sterile processing operations in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Orangeburg, South Carolina. The unit supports decontamination, prep and pack, sterilization, case carts, sterile storage and Epic charting for Level III trauma surgical services.

• Supervise sterile processing staff across decontamination, prep and pack, sterilization, case cart and sterile storage areas
• Assign daily work based on workload, case volume and department priorities
• Oversee tray assembly, count sheets, peel packs and labeling accuracy
• Monitor instrument tracking, documentation and inventory control
• Coordinate instrument availability, tray turnaround and case cart readiness
• Resolve equipment, instrument and workflow issues
• Support infection prevention, safety and universal precautions

• CBSPD or CRCST-HSPA certification
• Three years of sterile processing experience
• Prior leadership experience
• Sterilization, decontamination and assembly/wrap experience
• Prior travel experience

• Electronic instrument tracking systems
• Experience with neuro, GU, robotics, ENT, ortho, transplant and GYN cases
