Travel Sterile Processing Tech in Farmington, CT

A Travel Sterile Processing Technician will support decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and storage of surgical instruments and equipment in a hospital central sterile supply unit on a 13-week contract in Farmington, Connecticut. The unit uses EPIC and serves surgical procedures across central sterile supply areas.

• Decontaminate surgical instruments and medical equipment
• Assemble, sterilize, and store instrument sets and supplies
• Prepare case carts for surgical procedures
• Inspect instruments for cleanliness, completeness, and readiness
• Operate washer and sterilization equipment
• Distribute instruments and supplies across central sterile areas

• 4 to 5 years of hospital sterile processing experience
• CR-CST or CBSPD certification
• Experience with surgical instrumentation, supplies, devices, and equipment
• Ability to identify instruments and work while standing
