Travel Sterile Processing Tech in Everett, WA

A Travel Sterile Processing Tech Certified Sterile Processing Technician will support instrument processing in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Everett, Washington. The unit serves adults and geriatrics in a Level II trauma center, with EPIC charting and about 65 surgical cases and 1,200 trays each day.

• Decontaminate surgical instruments and equipment
• Assemble sets, trays, and case carts
• Inspect, package, and label instruments for processing
• Perform high-level disinfection and sterilization workflows
• Reprocess scopes, probes, and loaner trays
• Operate washers, sterilizers, and testing systems
• Maintain accurate instrumentation and equipment documentation

• CBSPD or IAHCSMM/HSPA certification
• 2 years of sterile processing experience
• Acute hospital or ambulatory surgery center experience
• Aseptic technique, tray assembly, and sterilization workflow skills

• Trauma and implant experience
• Teaching hospital experience
• Community hospital experience
• Epic charting system experience
