Travel Sterile Processing Tech in Walla Walla, WA

A Travel Sterile Processing Technician will process and sterilize surgical instruments in an acute care hospital in Walla Walla, Washington on a 16-week contract. The unit uses Epic charting and serves a Level III trauma center.

• Clean and decontaminate reusable surgical instruments and equipment
• Prepare, assemble, and wrap trays for sterilization
• Operate washers, sterilizers, and high-level disinfection equipment
• Monitor biological and chemical indicators and steam sterilization processes
• Perform immediate-use steam sterilization when needed
• Process case carts and document instrument tracking and sterilization results

• Sterile processing certification
• 1 year of acute hospital sterile processing experience
• Acute hospital operating room experience
• Experience with instrument assembly, wrapping, high-level disinfection, and sterilization monitoring
