Travel Sterile Processing Tech in West Hollywood, CA

A Travel Sterile Processing Technician Manager will oversee decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and instrument distribution in an acute hospital in West Hollywood, California on a 13-week contract. The unit uses Epic and serves a trauma level I setting.

• Lead decontamination, cleaning, and sterilization workflows
• Assemble, inspect, and label surgical instrument sets and trays
• Monitor washers, sterilizers, AERs, and sterilization testing
• Maintain case carts, preference cards, and processing documentation
• Support scope reprocessing and immediate-use steam sterilization
• Enforce aseptic technique and proper wrapping standards

• High school diploma or GED
• Active BLS certification
• CBSPD or IAHCSMM/HSPA certification
• 2 years of sterile processing supervisor experience
• Acute hospital operating room experience
• Prior travel experience

• Epic charting system experience
• Management and lead experience
• Teaching hospital experience
• CBSPD specialty certifications
