Travel Sterile Processing Tech in Indianapolis, IN

A Travel Sterile Processing Technician will clean, assemble, sterilize, and prepare surgical instruments in a hospital sterile processing unit on a 13-week contract in Indianapolis, Indiana. The unit serves adults in a Level I trauma center with a high daily tray volume and complex surgical service lines.

• Decontaminate surgical instruments and trays
• Assemble sets and trays for surgical cases
• Inspect, wrap, and package instruments for sterilization
• Operate washers, sterilizers, and steam sterilization monitoring systems
• Use biological and chemical indicators to verify processing
• Support instrument tracking and documentation
• Handle immediate-use steam sterilization and reprocessing workflows

• BLS
• CBSPD or IAHCSMM/HSPA certification
• 5 years of sterile processing experience
• Trauma Level I experience
• Acute hospital operating room experience
• Instrument decontamination, set assembly, wrapping, sterilization monitoring, and washer and sterilizer operation skills

• CFER
• Censitrac experience
• Scope and probe reprocessing experience
• Teaching hospital experience
• Getinge or Steris sterilization equipment experience
