Travel Sterile Processing Tech in Caldwell, ID

A Travel Sterile Processing Technician will clean, inspect, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments for an acute care hospital in Caldwell, Idaho on a 13-week contract. The unit supports 6 operating rooms, uses Meditech and Censitrac, and handles orthopedic, spine, general, bariatric, gynecologic, urologic, and podiatric cases.

• Decontaminate and clean used surgical instruments
• Inspect, assemble, and wrap trays for sterilization
• Operate washers, sterilizers, and other reprocessing equipment
• Track instruments and trays in the department system
• Prepare case carts and supplies for operating room needs
• Support instrument turnaround for a variety of surgical specialties

• One year of sterile processing experience
• Knowledge of surgical instrument processing and sterilization workflows
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Sterile processing certification
