Travel Speech Language Pathologist in Seaside, OR

A Travel Speech Language Pathologist will provide home health care to adults and geriatrics on a 13-week contract in Seaside, Oregon. The role uses EPIC Remote Client for Home Health, Rover, and OASIS, with 1:1 visits and up to 6 patients a day; first-time travelers are welcome.

• Assess swallowing, speech, language, and cognitive-communication needs in the home
• Develop and update individualized plans of care
• Perform bedside swallow evaluations and reassessments
• Teach patients and families about communication strategies, diet modifications, and safety
• Document visits, progress, and OASIS data accurately
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team and adjust interventions as needed

• Oregon Speech Language Pathologist license
• Current BLS certification
• 1 year of skilled home health experience
• OASIS and charting system experience
• Assessment, bedside swallow evaluation, dysphagia, and care planning skills

• Augmentative and alternative communication tools, communication boards, and memory aids
• Tracheostomy, trach/vent, suctioning, and Passy Muir valves
• Voice, fluency, acoustic analysis, and laryngectomy support
• TBI, hearing impairments, thickening agents, and free water protocol
