Travel Speech Language Pathologist in Hondo, TX

A Travel Speech Language Pathologist will evaluate and treat communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in a long term care setting for a 13-week contract in Hondo, Texas. The role uses standardized assessments, evidence-based care, and electronic documentation to support patient progress and discharge planning.

• Screen and evaluate patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing needs
• Develop and adjust individualized plans of care
• Deliver therapy using evidence-based interventions and standardized assessments
• Document treatment progress, minutes, and discharge summaries in the electronic record
• Consult with patients, families, caregivers, and care teams on treatment plans
• Support clinical meetings and supervise CFY or student speech-language pathologists

• Texas speech-language pathologist license
• Active ASHA certification
• Compact license accepted
• Graduation from an accredited speech-language pathology program
• Clinical evaluation, treatment, and discharge planning skills
• Electronic clinical documentation experience
