Travel Speech Language Pathologist in Houston, TX

A Travel NICU Speech Language Pathologist will evaluate and treat speech and swallowing needs in a hospital NICU in Houston, Texas on a 13-week contract. The small unit uses Meditech Magic and Meditech Expanse and serves neonatal patients.

• Evaluate speech, language, and swallowing abilities
• Develop age-appropriate plans of care and goals
• Implement evidence-based interventions for neonatal patients
• Assist with modified barium swallow studies
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other clinicians
• Document care and complete assigned duties

• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA
• Current Texas state Speech-Language Pathology license
• Neonatal experience
• Experience with modified barium swallow studies
