Travel Speech Language Pathologist in Santa Rosa, CA

A Travel Speech Language Pathologist will evaluate and treat adults and geriatrics in an acute care hospital for a 13-week contract in Santa Rosa, California. The caseload includes CVA, brain injury, and head and neck cancer needs, with Epic charting.

• Perform bedside swallow evaluations
• Conduct and interpret modified barium swallow studies
• Deliver therapy for dysphagia, dysarthria, fluency, and voice disorders
• Develop treatment plans and discharge recommendations
• Document evaluations, treatments, and reassessments in Epic
• Collaborate with the care team on compensatory strategies and communication support

• California Speech-Language Pathologist license
• BLS
• 1 year of hospital speech-language pathology experience
• Epic charting system experience

• Adult rehabilitation experience
• Augmentative and alternative communication tools
• Aphasia and cognitive-communication assessment tools
• Trauma level II experience
