Travel Speech Language Pathologist in Richmond, VA

A Travel Speech Language Pathologist will evaluate and treat adults in an inpatient rehab hospital for a 13-week contract in Richmond, Virginia. The 44-bed unit has 2 speech therapists, uses an electronic medical record, and focuses on swallowing and speech-language needs.

• Evaluate adults with swallowing and speech-language needs
• Treat dysphagia and communication disorders in the rehab setting
• Perform modified barium swallow studies
• Use therapeutic tools to support care goals
• Document assessments, treatment, and progress in the electronic medical record
• Collaborate with the rehab team on plan of care and discharge needs

• Virginia Speech Language Pathologist license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology
• Clinical assessment and treatment skills for swallowing and speech-language disorders

• Adult medical population experience
• Neuro experience
