Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in South Carolina

A Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide pediatric respiratory care in a children's hospital in Charleston, South Carolina on a 13-week contract. The unit serves neonates, infants, children and adolescents with Epic charting in a teaching, Magnet, level I trauma setting. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Assess respiratory status and adjust therapy for pediatric and neonatal patients
• Support airway management, extubation and ventilatory care
• Deliver treatments, oxygen therapy and respiratory interventions in NICU and pediatric critical care
• Monitor patients and respond to changes in respiratory condition
• Document care and patient response in Epic
• Collaborate with the care team on plans for infants, children and adolescents

• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential
• South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider license at start
• BLS, PALS and NRP certification
• 3 years of NICU Level IV or pediatric ICU respiratory therapy experience
• Pediatric critical care, neonatal and pediatric respiratory skills
• Extubation experience

• Bronchoscopy experience
• Teaching hospital experience
• Level I trauma experience
• Epic charting experience
