Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in Indianapolis, IN

A Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide neonatal and pediatric respiratory care in a children's hospital on a 13-week contract in Indianapolis, Indiana. The role supports NICU, PICU, and pediatric acute care patients, uses Cerner charting, and welcomes first-time travelers.

• Provide respiratory care for neonates, infants, and pediatric patients
• Set up and monitor aerosol, CPAP, and ventilatory support therapies
• Assist with airway suctioning, tracheostomy care, and airway maintenance
• Support extubation, ventilator weaning, and high-pressure alarm troubleshooting
• Administer prescribed inhaled medications and treatments
• Evaluate respiratory status and collaborate with the care team

• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential
• Indiana state license
• ACLS and BLS certification
• CoARC-accredited and CHEA-regionally accredited education
• 2 years of NICU experience and children's hospital experience within the last 5 years
• NRP for L&D assignment

• PALS certification
• Cerner charting system experience
• ABG interpretation
• Nitric oxide and inhaled Flolan experience
