Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in Indianapolis, IN

A Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide pediatric and neonatal respiratory care in a children's hospital on a 13-week contract in Indianapolis, Indiana. The role supports PICU, NICU, and acute care patients with Cerner charting. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Assess respiratory status in neonatal, infant, and pediatric patients
• Administer oxygen, inhaled medications, and airway treatments
• Support noninvasive and mechanical ventilation care
• Perform suctioning, tracheostomy care, and airway support
• Troubleshoot high-pressure alarms and ventilator issues
• Collect sputum specimens and assist with respiratory therapy planning

• Indiana state respiratory care license
• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential
• ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications
• CoARC- and CHEA-accredited respiratory therapy education
• 2 years of PICU experience
• Children's hospital experience within the last 5 years

• PALS certification
• ABG interpretation
• Nitric oxide therapy
• Cerner charting system experience
