Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in Glenwood Springs, CO

A Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide respiratory care and diagnostic support for cardiopulmonary patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. The role serves patients of all ages and acuity levels, including Level 2 NICU, with critical care and ventilator support.

• Assess cardiopulmonary status and support respiratory treatment plans
• Perform diagnostic respiratory procedures and gather patient data
• Provide ventilator support for critical care patients
• Assist with neonatal and pediatric respiratory care, including Level 2 NICU needs
• Administer oxygen therapy and other ordered respiratory therapies
• Respond to changes in breathing status and escalate concerns as needed

• Current Colorado Registered Respiratory Therapist license
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist credential
• Completion of an approved Respiratory Therapy program
• BLS, ACLS, PALS and NRP certifications
• 5 years of Respiratory Therapy experience
• Neonatal, pediatric, and Level 2 NICU experience with critical care and ventilator skills
