Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in Indianapolis, IN

A Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide respiratory care and diagnostic support in a hospital for a 13-week contract in Indianapolis, Indiana. The caseload includes adults and geriatrics, with Cerner charting and ICU-level ventilator and airway support. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Deliver respiratory therapy for adult and geriatric patients
• Administer ordered aerosol and inhaled therapies
• Assist with ABGs, intubation, extubation, and ventilation weaning
• Manage BiPAP, CPAP, HFNC, trach collars, and airway support
• Perform suctioning, tracheostomy care, and specimen collection
• Monitor alarms, troubleshoot equipment, and document care in Cerner

• Indiana Registered Respiratory Therapist license
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist credential
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• CoARC- and CHEA-accredited respiratory care education
• 2 years of respiratory therapy experience, including 18 months recent ICU experience

• PALS
• Emergency Department experience
• Pediatric experience
• Cerner charting experience
