Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in Indianapolis, IN

A Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide respiratory care in a children's hospital NICU and acute care setting on a 13-week contract in Indianapolis, Indiana. Neonates, infants, and pediatrics are cared for in a Cerner unit, and first-time travelers are welcome.

• Assess neonatal, infant, and pediatric respiratory status
• Deliver aerosol, CPAP, BIPAP, and oxygen therapies
• Support extubation, ventilator weaning, and airway management
• Perform tracheostomy care, suctioning, and airway placement
• Troubleshoot alarms and adjust respiratory equipment
• Document care and patient responses in Cerner
• Coordinate respiratory support with the care team

• Indiana State License and NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist credential
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Graduation from a CoARC- and CHEA-accredited program
• 2 years NICU experience
• Children's hospital experience within the last 3 years or strong level I adult trauma experience
• NRP for L&D assignment, obtainable after offer

• PALS
• Cerner charting system experience
• ABG interpretation
• Nitric oxide support
