Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in Anchorage, AK

A Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide respiratory care for pediatric, neonatal, and adult patients in an acute hospital in Anchorage, Alaska on a 13-week contract. The role supports ICU, PICU, and NICU care in a Level II trauma hospital using Epic. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Provide respiratory therapy for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients
• Assist with NIV, high flow oxygen, nebulizers, and airway clearance
• Support ventilator management, weaning, and high pressure alarm troubleshooting
• Perform ABG interpretation and specimen collection
• Manage tracheostomy care, suctioning, and airway placement
• Respond to trauma and critical care needs across ICU, PICU, and NICU

• Alaska respiratory therapist license in hand
• BLS and CRT credentials
• 2 years of recent Level 3 or 4 NICU or PICU experience
• Trauma experience
• Graduation from an accredited respiratory therapy program

• ACLS, NRP, PALS, and RRT credentials
• High frequency jet ventilator and high risk delivery support
• Bronchoscopy, inhaled Flolan, and nitric oxide experience
