Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in Anchorage, AK

A Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide pediatric and adult respiratory care in an acute hospital in Anchorage, Alaska on a 26-week contract. The unit serves NICU, PICU, and adult ICU patients in a magnet setting with Epic charting. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Provide respiratory therapy across NICU, PICU, and adult critical care areas
• Support ventilation management, oxygen delivery, and airway care
• Assist with ABGs, pulmonary hygiene, and sputum specimen collection
• Perform tracheostomy care, suctioning, and airway maintenance
• Help deliver therapies such as HFNC, NIV, nebulizers, and CPT
• Monitor for high pressure alarms and support ventilator weaning
• Assist with nitric oxide and inhaled Flolan therapies as needed

• BLS certification
• Certified Respiratory Therapist credential
• Alaska respiratory therapist license in hand or pending
• 2 years of recent Level 3 or 4 NICU or PICU experience
• Trauma experience
• Epic charting experience

• ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications
• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential
• High-frequency jet ventilator experience
• Nitric oxide, inhaled Flolan, or high-risk delivery support
