Travel Radiation Therapist in Columbia, SC

A Travel Radiation Therapist will support radiation therapy care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Columbia, South Carolina. The unit serves adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics and geriatrics and uses Epic charting.

• Prepare patients for simulation and treatment
• Assist with CT simulation, image guidance and chart checks
• Deliver external beam therapy and stereotactic treatments
• Set up custom molds, shields and treatment sites
• Monitor patients and provide teaching during care
• Support emergency response and rapid response activity
• Apply radiation safety and isolation precautions

• ARRT Radiation Therapist certification
• BLS certification
• Associate degree
• 1 year of radiation therapy experience
• Radiation safety, CT simulation, image-guided setup and chart checking skills

• Epic charting system experience
• Eclipse, Varis-Vision or ARIA experience
• Pediatric, craniospinal and field shaping experience
