Travel Radiation Therapist in Santa Rosa, CA

A Travel Radiation Therapist will provide radiation therapy care in an oncology center on a 13-week contract in Santa Rosa, California. The unit sees about 25 patients per tech each day and uses EPIC charting.

• Prepare patients for treatment and review daily plans
• Assist with custom molds, shields, blocks, and immobilization
• Support localization imaging and treatment setup
• Deliver external beam and IMRT treatments
• Maintain radiation safety, PPE, and isolation precautions
• Document treatment details and patient responses
• Collaborate with the oncology care team

• California State License
• BLS and ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy
• 1 year of radiation therapy experience
• ARIA experience and charting system experience
• Adult acute care, young adult, middle adult, and older adult care skills
• Custom molds, custom shields, tumor localization, block cutting, B-mode targeting, CBCT/kV/mV imaging, beam filter use, portal casting, wedges, dose calculation, external beam therapy, IMRT, Pinnacle, Eclipse, lift and transfer devices, isolation precautions, PPE, radiation safety, and rapid response and code team support
