Travel Radiation Therapist in Cleveland, OH

A Travel Radiation Therapist will provide radiation therapy in a radiation oncology unit at an acute care hospital in Cleveland, Ohio on a 13-week contract. The role uses a radiation oncology electronic medical record and record-and-verify system.

• Deliver prescribed external beam radiation therapy
• Assist with CT simulation and image-guided treatment setup
• Verify patient identity, treatment plans, and positioning before each session
• Document treatments and care in the radiation oncology record system
• Monitor patients for treatment tolerance and report concerns to the care team
• Collaborate with radiation oncologists and other team members to support safe treatment delivery

• Current ARRT(R)(T) certification
• Active Ohio radiation therapy license
• AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-approved radiation therapy technology program
• Radiation oncology electronic medical record and record-and-verify experience

• Experience with external beam radiation therapy, IMRT, IGRT, and CT simulation
