Travel Radiation Therapist in Eureka, CA

A Travel Radiation Therapist will support radiation oncology patients in a hospital on a 26-week contract in Eureka, California. The unit cares for adults and geriatrics with breast, prostate, lung, and head and neck cancers, uses Epic, and first-time travelers are welcome.

• Deliver external beam radiation treatments
• Assist with simulation, chart checks, and treatment setup
• Monitor patients during IMRT, SRS, and SBRT sessions
• Use imaging and safety checks for treatment verification
• Educate patients and families on treatment routines and precautions
• Coordinate with the care team for complex oncology cases

• ARRT T credential
• BLS certification
• 1 year of radiation therapy experience
• Epic charting experience
• Adult acute care and outpatient experience
