Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Olympia, WA

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for adult and geriatric patients in a short term acute care hospital in Olympia, Washington on a 13 week contract. The unit handles cardiac telemetry, arrhythmias, chest pain, syncope, and EPIC charting in a 27-bed setting.

• Monitor cardiac telemetry and interpret rhythm changes
• Administer cardiac drips, blood products, and IV insulin protocols
• Support noninvasive respiratory care, oxygen therapy, and airway management
• Manage central lines, PICC lines, and peripheral access
• Assist with cardioversion, sheath pulls, and groin site care
• Coordinate with rapid response and code teams for unstable patients
• Provide care for sepsis, chest pain, syncope, and post-MI patients

• Washington Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• 1 year of progressive care or telemetry experience
• Cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia, and stepdown nursing experience

• ACLS certification
• EPIC charting experience
• Sheath removal and post-cardiac catheterization experience
• Arterial blood gas interpretation
